White Diamond™ Valves for M8 White Diamond™ valve Stems are hard chrome plated using a 360° anode to insure uniform hard chrome thickness. Rigorous monitoring of the chrome bath is performed to insure purity, and tight tolerances are held on the surface preparation and surface finish of the valve. Valves are designed using the latest Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to make sure there is adequate cross sectional area where the greatest stresses occur.The keeper groove and tip areas are induction hardened to prevent wear. Retainers are designed using the latest Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. They are machined from solid aircraft quality high strength steel bar stock and heat treated to a specific depth to increase strength, and to create a hard, wear resistant surface. Retainers then go through a hot oxiding process to give a high quality finish to the parts. Keepers are manufactured from high tensile strength, heat treated steel.
